Don't you just love coming home after a long day (or a long period of time) of doing something that requires a lot of effort (such a school, work, running errands, traveling, partying, etc) and then, finally you get to your bedroom...don't you begin to feel more relaxed? Then, do other things to relax such as lay on your bed, put on more comfortable clothes, cuddle with bae, watch your fave shows, or meditate/pray to get rid of all the energies you've encountered through out the day? Yeah me too!
That's why I feel like your bedroom is a very important part of the house. That's where you recharge your batteries so that you're able to face the world again! Crystals are awesome, like seriously! Crystals are powerful tools that can be used to heal, amplify intentions, & can create a certain vibe in a room. They can even keep out unwanted energies as well! If you know me, you know I absolutely love crystals! I used to have an agate crystal tower in me and my boyfriend's old room. It was great for creating a peaceful environment and bringing people together. Everytime people came over, everyone always ended up in our room. I asked them why they always wanted to come in our room and they said the energy just felt nice in there, I would just smirk because that's that crystal power for you!

2. Feng Shui:
Have you ever been in a room that made you feel a little uneasy because it was too cluttered, messy, or the energy in the room felt off? It's most likely that the feng shui is off. Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese practice used to create harmony & peaceful energies in the home by incorporating certain elements (water, metal, wood, fire, earth). It can also influence your health, productivity, mental clarity, & cash flow!

To bring the earth element to your room add plants, to bring the water element into your room, add a mini water fountain to your room or a bowl or water on your alter. To bring the fire element to your room add incense or candles to your room (but more on candles later). To bring the metal element to your room, use brass lighting fixtures or brass plant pots. To add wood to your room, hang images of trees on your wall or landscape art. Feng Shui is such a complex practice & this paragraph doesn’t do it enough justice. 6. Choose the right colors
By now I'm sure you know that colors affect your mood because of how certain colors make you feel in your everyday life. There are seven distinct “wheels” or “centers” of energy that are always in motion along the human body’s spinal column. They are called chakras. Each one has its own color and vibrational frequency, these wheels are the catalysts of consciousness and human function. They govern numerous emotional issues, from our survival instincts and self-esteem to our ability to communicate and experience love. Your chakras can become unbalanced & can cause disruption in your life or dis-ease. Color therapy is a complimentary treatment that dates back to ancient Egypt, India, & China. The treatment uses certain colors to affect your mood & psychological state which help to re-balance your chakras. Painting your room a certain color or including decor that’s a certain color can definitely change the energy of the room.
